WEEK SEVEN: Inspiration... 'A Model for Dr. Caligari'

The Images bellow were of great influence to Hannah and myself when designing our models. We were inspired by each photograph, which is evident through the final result of our designs.

WEEK SIX: A Model for Dr Caligari (Models One and Two)

These models have been made by Hannah.
Model One shows the draw bridges and emphasises the depth of the room.
Model Two demonstrates the window and skylight openings of the room, and the influence of light within the space.
Hannah has used our selected technique of folding paper and cardboard.

I have made Model Three through our chosen technique of folding paper and cardboard.
The model is an operational draw bridge for Dr Caligari. It shows the functionallity of the bridge by linking two openings together.

WEEK SIX: The Final Submissions for Dr. Calligari

After receiving feedback in the studio classes I have made some improvements to the Dr Caligari drawings. The changes portray a slightly more technical and architectural representation.
